Getting Started - Energy
Introduction
To begin, we must first decide whether your integration will be via MQTT or BATCH. Below you will find information about the types of integration to understand a little more about each one, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. After that, you will also find information on how to proceed with your new integration.
BATCH integration (.csv or .parquet)
If you want to receive information in a more organized and filtered way, in order to perform analyses or reports on data generated by IoTs, and be able to receive this data periodically without the need for immediate response, BATCH integration is the best option! In this case, you can choose to receive a .csv or a .parquet with the information generated. In contrast to these benefits, you will not have real-time information, such as the presence of a potential customer in the store or the immediate reading of some equipment.
Integration via MQTT
If you want to receive real-time information to monitor events, behavior of a potential consumer or other situations requiring immediate response, this is the best option! In MQTT integration, events detected by our IoTs are sent to a server where your system can see them in real time, such as the presence of a potential customer in your store, or the reading of a device with fresh data. On the other hand, your system may often receive a lot of unnecessary, repeated or disorganized information, which can be a problem if you need to perform detailed analyses or reports.
How to proceed
After analyzing the types of integration, we can define one together and proceed using one of the links below:
Integration of raw data via MQTT
Integration of processed data via BATCH
